STAFF APPLICATIONS

We at AdventureServe believe in and are committed to the growth of people through confrontational experiences with God, self, others, and nature. Each summer we assemble a diverse community of Christian Leaders to be equipped with life changing skills, and deployed to carry out the ASM mission. As Summer Staff, you will be challenged to put your faith in action, while leading and encouraging others to do the same. Staff life is a unique combination of fun and hard work that could quite possibly result in the best summer of your life. If you are looking for a summer job like no other, consider joining the AdventureServe team. 

We are looking for self-motivated, hardworking, adventure seeking Christian Leaders to join the AdventureServe team this summer. Summer staff must be at least 18 years of age, and have a valid driver’s license. Anyone serving on the AdventureServe team needs to be teachable, reliable, and committed. Scroll down to learn more!

Requirements

All applicants must have a current driver’s license

and be at least 18 years of age. All staff must be

first aid and CPR certified and wilderness staff must be wilderness first aid certified. All certifications are provided as part of staff training (minimal fees apply).

Benefits

During the summer, you will have lodging, food while on trips, and transportation to and from AdventureServe activities.

Vacation

If you require specific days off, arrangements MUST be discussed and made with the Program Manager prior to hiring. Throughout the summer you will be off Saturday afternoons until Sunday mornings.

Stipends

Trip Leaders - $250 / per week (ASM covers half, you are asked to fundraise the other half)

*Anything raised above $1500 will have a 5% charge foprocessing

*You can also earn $50 for each friend you refer to Serve with AdventureServe. 

The Application Process

1.Fill out one of the applications below

 

2.When the Program Managers receives your application and references, they will call you to set up a time for an interview.

3.You will have a telephone, FaceTime/Google meet, or face-to-face interview.
 

4.The Program Manager will either offer you or not offer you a position and wait for your acceptance or denial. We fill positions on a first-come, first-serve basis. As soon as you commit to coming, we will reserve a place for you on our summer staff.

Staff Training

Staff training will be the 2 weeks prior to summer programing. One week will be together with all the different kinds of trip leaders and positions on summer staff, and the other week will be area specific. 

Summer Staff Positions 

Service Trip Leader - 12 weeks of service
Wilderness Trip Leader - 12 weeks of service
Day Camp Counselor - 4 weeks of service
Photo/Video Media Intern - 12 weeks of service
