Q: Do I need to send my child with any gear or supplies?
A: For most activities, we provide all necessary supplies. Occasionally, we may ask your child to wear specific shoes or clothing appropriate for the day's activity (e.g., closed-toe shoes for hiking or comfortable clothing for climbing). You will receive advance notice if special attire is required.
Q: What activities will my child get to do?
A: Each day offers a mix of engaging activities designed to promote growth, learning, and fun. Activities may include:
Interactive games that incorporate valuable lessons.
Indoor Rock Climbing to build confidence and physical strength.
Hiking to foster a love of creation.
Environmental education to teach stewardship and awareness of the natural world. Every day has a unique focus and includes an outdoor learning component to encourage curiosity and exploration.
intentional debriefs that help connect the physical activities with the spiritual truths found in scripture.
Q: Will any food be provided?
A: While we provide water throughout the experience, we do not supply snacks due to allergy considerations. However, you are welcome to send a snack with your child, and designated snack times will be provided.
Q: Do I need to pick up my child from school?
A: No, we will coordinate with your child’s school to pick them up and transport them to our campus in Wilmore. Please ensure that the school has your authorization for AdventureServe staff to pick up your child on program days.
Q: Where do I need to pick up my child?
A: Pick-up is at the AdventureServe Campus located at 711 E Main Street, Wilmore, KY 40390. Please arrive by 5:00 PM to ensure a smooth and timely dismissal.

A: We maintain a low student-to-staff ratio to ensure personalized attention, safety, and high-quality instruction. Typically, there is one staff member for every six to eight students.
Q: What safety measures are in place?
A: The safety of your child is our top priority. All staff are trained in CPR and Wilderness First Aid, and activities are conducted with proper equipment and supervision. Risk assessments are completed for each activity to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience.
Q: What if my child cannot attend one of the program days?
A: If your child is unable to attend a scheduled day, please notify us as soon as possible. While we cannot offer refunds for missed days, we’ll ensure they are caught up on for the next session.
Q: How do I register my child for the program?
A: Registration is simple and can be completed online through our website or by contacting our office directly. Spaces are limited, so we encourage early registration to secure your child’s spot.
